. welcome .

It obviously goes without saying, but I adore photography ... love it! I love that one image can make you grin each time you see it or that another will make you catch your breath as you remember that very moment.

And, I adore people, and the relationships that shape their lives and make it unique. I feel honoured to be there to document the milestones of these relationships; pregnancies in full bloom; the awe of a birth; vulnerable and sweet newborns; cheeky, cheeky children and their families; the excitement and anticipation of an engagement; proud anniversaries; the once in a life time magic and celebration of a wedding ..... and all those "everyday" moments of life you have just got to capture before they disappear before your eyes!

My ultimate goal for you is to create a collection of images that tell the story of a life well lived ... and, well loved.

Donna & John

When we had finished up with Mitch's newborn session, I asked Donna and John when they had last had their portraits taken, and they answered : "our wedding". So Mitch was put to bed and mum and dad settled in for their portraits. This series is my favourite - got to love the moment just before a kiss ...

Amanda & Michael

When I work on a newborn session, I'm normally working with two parents who are overwhelmed, in awe, exhausted and generally haven't had much time to stop and check in with each other. At the end of the baby focused session, I will ask mum and dad if they'd like to have a couple of quick portraits made, of just the two of them. The results are of course, always varied, but the common factor is usually a husband and wife finally getting a moment to slow down to say 'hi', and have a few minutes with the focus back on them. The images are always bursting with emotion, and capturing that is priceless.

Here are Amanda & Michael's portraits ... post baby Grace ...

Couples : Anna & Melanie

Meet Anna & Mel. Anna contacted me to organise a portrait session to commemorate and to celebrate their civil union they have recently had in New Zealand. Anna & Mel are Brisbane girls living in London, so we decided to have our session at some prominent Brisbane City landmarks .... the Kangaroo Point Cliffs, The Story Bridge, along the Brisbane River and the Botanical Gardens.

I am happy to report that while they were both a little nervous at the beginning of the session, we all relaxed and had a brilliant time together, really enjoying capturing this very important time in their lives.

This is a really big showcase, so I'll let the images speak for themselves.

Definitely a favourite ....

Congratulations Anna & Melaine !

Couples : Tealia & Luke

After we finished with Brooklyn's shoot, we quickly got a few photographs of mum and dad together. After all the time we've spent together recently, these guys are starting to feel more like friends rather than clients!

I LOVE this sequence of shots ......

Couples : Amanda & Michael's First Anniversary

Amanda & Michael recently celebrated their first wedding anniversary, so of course, we had a mini photo shoot on the day to celebrate!! These were taken in the beautiful Bunya Mountains.

I keep joking to Amanda that they will have the best collection of photographs of their lives because I use them as my guinea pigs so much! ;-)
